Pros
- 5-year warranty stated, the longest here
- Stain-resistant gel wipes clean

- Transparent gel design
Cons
- 4.88 by 3.43 inches; mouse sized, not keyboard sized

- Best as a mouse rest, not a keyboard rest
Detailed Review
The Fellowes Crystals Gel rest is a 4.88 by 3.43 inch self-adjusting gel pad with a non-skid rubber backing and a stain-resistant smooth surface. At under 5 inches wide it is sized for a mouse, not for spanning a 96% keyboard like the Aula F99; pair it with a separate keyboard rest if the F99 is the main board. Fellowes states a 5-year warranty, the longest in this set.
Who it's for: anyone who wants a small gel rest for the mouse with a long warranty. Who should skip it: F99 keyboard coverage; it is too short.
Its Office Score of 9.5/10 comes from performance 21/35, build 20/25, value 20/25, safety not scored (non-powered gear) and warranty 3/5: 64 of 90 points, placed on our 9.2 to 9.8 scale.

PostureUp EdgeRest
A 26-inch L-shaped desk-edge cushion in memory foam; a different form, not a keyboard rest.
Pros
- 26-inch length spans keyboard and mouse area
- L-shape fits the desk edge
- Memory foam with breathable fabric
- Textured anti-slip underside
Cons
- Sits on the desk edge, not in front of the keyboard

- 113.3 g; very light for its size
Detailed Review

How we scored them
The OfficeKit Score weighs performance, build, value, safety and warranty. For wrist rests, safety would mean a stated safety certification; none of the five states one, so no safety points were given. Two state warranty terms: 3 years on the TECKNET and 5 years on the Fellowes. How we pick explains the weights.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TECKNET Cloud Rest Set | 9.7 | 30 | 21 | 21 | n/a | 3 |
| Faluber Cooling Gel Rest | 9.6 | 29 | 21 | 21 | n/a | 0 |
| Fellowes Crystals Gel Rest | 9.5 | 21 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 3 |
| ABRONDA Gel Keyboard Rest | 9.5 | 26 | 20 | 21 | n/a | 0 |
| PostureUp EdgeRest | 9.5 | 23 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 0 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score. Safety counts only for powered gear or where the listing states safety features; where it does not apply, the score is taken over the remaining 90 points.
How to choose the best wrist rest for Aula F99
Length against the 96% layout
The F99’s width decides the rest’s length. The TECKNET at 16.7 inches is listed for 96-key keyboards, and the Faluber at 17.3 inches fits full-size boards. The ABRONDA at 15.55 inches suits compact boards but falls short of the F99’s width, and the Fellowes at 4.88 inches is a mouse rest, not a keyboard rest. The PostureUp spans 26 inches but sits on the desk edge, not in front of the keys. Measure the typing area, then match.
Fill: foam, gel or both
Fills split three ways here. The TECKNET uses 80D high-density memory foam the listing says holds its shape; the Faluber layers cooling gel over memory foam at medium firmness; the Fellowes, ABRONDA use gel alone. Foam keeps its loft over time, gel stays cool and wipes clean, and the hybrid tries for both. For more on board pairings, browse our keyboards guides.
Height and desk fit
Height runs 0.7 inches on the ABRONDA, 0.9 inches on the Faluber, with the TECKNET and Fellowes stating no figure. The rest should meet the keyboard’s front edge without lifting the wrists; low-profile boards pair with low rests. The PostureUp is a different case: an L-shaped cushion on the desk edge for edge pressure, not keyboard height.
Surface and cleaning
The TECKNET’s PU leather is waterproof and wipes clean, the Faluber’s polyester is stain resistant, and the gel rests wipe down with a damp cloth. The PostureUp uses a breathable woven fabric. If drinks live on the desk, a wipeable surface matters more than texture.
Set or single
Two buying patterns show up here. The TECKNET is a three-piece set: keyboard rest, mouse rest and coaster in one box, which suits a fresh desk setup where both rests are needed. Everything else is a single piece: the Faluber and ABRONDA for the keyboard, the Fellowes for the mouse, and the PostureUp for the desk edge. Buying the set saves a second order; buying singles lets each piece match its own job.
Warranty
Only two state terms: the Fellowes at 5 years and the TECKNET at 3 years. The Faluber, ABRONDA and PostureUp state no warranty term.
Setup Notes
- Place the rest flush against the keyboard’s front edge so the wrists meet it, not the desk.
- Give foam rests a day to expand to full height after unboxing.
- Wipe gel and PU leather surfaces with a damp cloth; keep fabric rests dry.
- If the rest slides, check the base: silicone and rubber backings need a clean, dry desk.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size wrist rest fits the Aula F99?
The F99 is a 96% board. The TECKNET at 16.7 inches is listed for 96-key keyboards and the Faluber at 17.3 inches fits full-size boards. Shorter rests leave part of the typing area unsupported.
Memory foam or gel?
Memory foam holds its shape over long sessions; gel stays cool and wipes clean. The Faluber combines both in layers, while the TECKNET, Fellowes and ABRONDA use one or the other.
Can I use the Fellowes for the F99 keyboard?
Not well. At 4.88 by 3.43 inches it is sized for a mouse. Use it as a mouse rest alongside a keyboard-length pad.
What is the PostureUp EdgeRest for?
It is an L-shaped cushion that sits on the desk edge to soften edge pressure on forearms and wrists, not a rest that sits in front of the keyboard.
Which of these state a warranty?
The Fellowes states 5 years and the TECKNET 3 years. The others state no warranty term.
