How we scored them
The Office Score weighs performance, build, value, safety and warranty. For casters, safety means stated certifications; the LSWhee is RCS certified. Three of the five state a warranty term, including two lifetime warranties. How we pick explains the weights.

How to choose the best office chair wheels for plush carpet
Go 3-inch for pile
The Jusonpower, LSWhee and Caracal Cove are all 3-inch wheels that roll over cords, rugs and transitions. The Office Oasis and Duramont do not state a wheel diameter. On plush carpet, diameter matters more than tread: bigger wheels sink less. See our chair mats, casters and footrests for more caster options.
Match the load to the user
The LSWhee lists 880 lb, the Caracal Cove 650 lb, the Jusonpower 600 lb and the Duramont 300 lb. The Office Oasis states no load figure. Pick a set rated well above the combined weight of the user and the chair. Our best office chair wheels for high pile carpet list covers the deepest pile.
Check the warranty
The Jusonpower and Office Oasis both state lifetime warranties. The LSWhee states a 2-year warranty. The Caracal Cove and Duramont state no warranty term. Our best office chair wheels for thick carpet list is the sibling guide.
Setup Notes
- Pull the old casters straight out and push the new stems in; all five need no tools.
- Check stem size: 7/16 by 7/8 inch is standard; none of the five fit IKEA chairs.
- Roll the chair on the carpet right after fitting to seat the stems.
- Confirm the warranty in writing: lifetime on the Jusonpower and Office Oasis, 2 years on the LSWhee, none stated on the Caracal Cove and Duramont.
