Safety and Warranty
What this listing states. This product does not plug in or run on a battery, so safety is not part of its score. 180-day replacement warranty. It does not say everything a buyer needs, such as who pays return shipping, so warranty scores 3 of 5. See How We Pick.
Comfort, not treatment. Cushions, pillows, footrests and chair mats change how a desk feels; they are not medical devices. Check the size against your chair or floor and keep mats flat so casters do not catch.

The listing states two different size lines: 16.5 by 15.8 by 13.4 in in the bullets and 17.32 by 15.75 by 14.57 in in the spec table, so trust the bullets and confirm with the seller if the size matters. Detailed Review
CYLEN lists a gel-infused high-density memory foam cushion in matte black with a U-shaped cutout at the back, non-slip rubber dots on the bottom and a removable machine-washable short-plush cover. The cushion measures 17.5 by 15.75 by 3 in and carries a built-in carrying handle. The listing warns that firmness shifts with temperature: in cold weather the foam firms up, and a car-stored cushion should come indoors to soften again.

Its Office Score of 9.6/10 comes from performance 28/35, build 20/25, value 20/25, safety not scored (non-powered gear) and warranty 0/5: 68 of 90 points, placed on our 9.2 to 9.8 scale.

Specifications are manufacturer rated as listed, collected 23 October 2026. One of the five states a warranty term: the COMFORTANZA at 180 days. Two listings carry internal size contradictions worth noting.
How we scored them
The Office Score weighs performance (size, thickness, foam density claims, added features), build (cover material, care, non-slip base), value for the stated specs, safety and warranty. For a seat cushion, safety means a stated certification or safety-relevant hardware; none of the five states one, so all five score zero there. One listing states a warranty term: the COMFORTANZA at 180 days. How we pick explains the weights.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| COMFORTANZA CC007BE | 9.7 | 29 | 21 | 21 | n/a | 3 |
| HUANUO HNSC05B-US | 9.6 | 30 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 0 |
| CHANCEE B1 | 9.6 | 29 | 21 | 19 | n/a | 0 |
| CYLEN CYLEN0981 | 9.6 | 28 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 0 |
| Augld f-45-h | 9.5 | 27 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 0 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score. Safety counts only for powered gear or where the listing states safety features; where it does not apply, the score is taken over the remaining 90 points.
How to choose the best memory foam seat cushion for home office
Start with size and thickness
Measure the chair seat first, because footprints here run from 16 by 16 in on the COMFORTANZA to 18 by 18 in on the Augld, with the CYLEN at 17.5 by 15.75 in between. Thickness runs 2 in on the Augld and 3 in on the CYLEN and COMFORTANZA, and the COMFORTANZA pitches its 3 in lift as a booster for low chairs. If you move the cushion between rooms, a seat cushion portable pick with a handle may suit better than a square that needs ties.
Check the cover and the non-slip base
All five state a non-slip bottom, and the Augld adds ties for extra hold. Cover care varies: the CYLEN and Augld covers are machine washable, the COMFORTANZA cover is washable with a waterproof layer underneath, and the CHANCEE listing says the memory foam part is not machine washable. The HUANUO listing states no cover care instructions at all.
| Seat cushion | Cover care | Non-slip | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| COMFORTANZA CC007BE | Washable, waterproof layer | Non-slip base | 180 days |
| HUANUO HNSC05B-US | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| CHANCEE B1 | Foam not machine washable | Non-slip design | Not stated |
| CYLEN CYLEN0981 | Machine washable | Rubber dots | Not stated |
| Augld f-45-h | Machine washable | Double non-slip, ties | Not stated |
Figures as stated in each listing. HUANUO’s listing states no non-slip or cover care line; we report what is there.
Read the warranty and the contradictions
Only the COMFORTANZA states a warranty term, a 180-day replacement warranty; the other four state none. Two listings contradict themselves on size: the COMFORTANZA spec table lists 1.6 in thickness while its title and bullets state 3 in, and the CHANCEE bullets list 16.5 by 15.8 by 13.4 in while its spec table lists 17.32 by 15.75 by 14.57 in. Trust the title and bullets in both cases, and confirm with the seller if the size decides the purchase. For a cushion that also supports the lower back, see our best lumbar pillow for office chair.
Mind the extras
The extras decide ties between similar cushions: the CYLEN has a carrying handle, the COMFORTANZA has an L-shaped zipper and a waterproof layer, the Augld has ties, the CHANCEE builds lumbar support into an L-shape, and the HUANUO pairs a cooling gel layer with a 4.3 in raised back. Pick the extra you will actually use; a handle matters if the cushion travels, a waterproof layer matters if coffee does.
Setup Notes
- Measure the chair seat: footprints run from 16 by 16 in to 18 by 18 in here.
- Thickness adds seat height: 2 in on the Augld, 3 in on the CYLEN and COMFORTANZA.
- Covers are removable and washable on four of the five; the CHANCEE foam part is not machine washable.
- All five state a non-slip bottom; the Augld adds ties.
- The CYLEN firms up in cold weather, per its listing; bring it indoors.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size seat cushion fits a home office chair?
These five run from 16 by 16 in to 18 by 18 in: the Augld at 18 by 18 in, the CYLEN at 17.5 by 15.75 in and the COMFORTANZA at 16 by 16 in. Measure the seat pan and leave room for the cushion to sit flat.
How thick should a seat cushion be?
The Augld is 2 in thick; the CYLEN and COMFORTANZA are 3 in. The COMFORTANZA pitches its 3 in as a lift for low chairs, so a 3 in cushion suits a chair that sits too low.
Are the covers washable?
The CYLEN and Augld covers are machine washable, and the COMFORTANZA cover is washable with a waterproof layer. The CHANCEE listing says its foam part is not machine washable, and the HUANUO listing states no cover care instructions.
Which of these states a warranty term?
Only the COMFORTANZA, with a stated 180-day replacement warranty. The CYLEN, Augld, CHANCEE and HUANUO listings state no warranty term.
Do these cushions stay in place?
All five state a non-slip bottom, and the Augld adds ties. The HUANUO listing states no non-slip line, so its hold is unconfirmed.
