Best Stability Ball Chair for Office: 5 Picks Compared

ProBody Pilates lists a 65 cm PVC ball on a stability ring with a stated 660 lb static-load anti-burst rating, low-odor and phthalate-free. The listing sizes it for users of 5 ft 6 in to 6 ft 1 in at a 28 in to 30 in desk and says it inflates in 2 to 3 minutes with the included dual-action pump. The box includes the core ball, ring base, dual-action pump, 2 plugs and an illustrated quick-start guide, and the maker says it inspects every chair set before shipping. One contradiction to note: the title names two different ball sizes, but the spec table lists the ball diameter as 65 cm, so we trust the table. The warranty line says 1 year manufacturer, and the bullets promise a replacement if the ball bursts or leaks within 12 months.

Who it's for: a home worker who wants the highest stated anti-burst rating here and a ring base that keeps the ball in place. Who should skip it: anyone who needs a ball size other than 65 cm or a rolling base.

Its Office Score of 9.7/10 comes from performance 32/35, build 21/25, value 21/25, safety 8/10 and warranty 4/5: 86 of 100 points, placed on our 9.2 to 9.8 scale.
