How we scored them
The Office Score weighs performance (noise cancellation and mic design), build (battery and controls), value for the stated specs, safety and warranty. None of the four listings states a safety certification, but all four state a warranty term, so warranty points are reflected in the scores. How we pick explains the weights.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Angteela | 9.7 | 32 | 22 | 21 | n/a | 2 |
| LEVN | 9.7 | 30 | 22 | 21 | n/a | 2 |
| LEAYU | 9.7 | 29 | 22 | 21 | n/a | 2 |
| PrancyBt | 9.6 | 29 | 21 | 21 | n/a | 2 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score. Safety counts only for powered gear or where the listing states safety features; where it does not apply, the score is taken over the remaining 90 points.
How to choose the best headset with mic for working from home
Compare the noise cancellation claims
Stated noise reduction runs 95% (LEAYU) to 99.9% (PrancyBt), with the LEVN listing AI noise cancelling and the Angteela listing ENC. All four list a mute button: one-key on the Angteela, one-click on the PrancyBt. Treat the percentages as the makers’ own claims. For remote-work picks, see our best headset for remote work with microphone.
Check talk time and charging
Talk time runs 35 hours (LEAYU, PrancyBt) to 65 hours (LEVN), with the Angteela at 50 hours. The LEVN and Angteela include a charging base; the Angteela also lists USB-C wired charging. The LEAYU lists 2100 hours of standby and 60 hours of music time. If you run back-to-back meetings, a charging base matters more than raw hours.
Match the connection to your setup
The LEVN and PrancyBt list a USB dongle, the Angteela lists Bluetooth 5.3 with dual connection, and the LEAYU lists Bluetooth 5.2 with multipoint pairing. The LEVN lists up to 49 ft of wireless range. Check your computer for built-in Bluetooth before picking a dongle-free model. For office-call picks, see our best headset for office calls with noise cancellation.
Look at the wearing style
The LEAYU is a single-ear trucker design with over-ear comfort. The other three are standard two-ear designs. Single-ear leaves one ear open for the room; two-ear blocks more background sound. For home-office picks, see our best headset for working from home with microphone.
Setup Notes
- Select the headset in your Zoom or Teams audio settings before the call.
- Charge on the included base between meetings (LEVN, Angteela).
- Power off before charging (PrancyBt).
