Laptop edges are sharp and low, and a long typing day ends in sore wrists. The best wrist rest for laptop use is small enough to sit on the palm rest area, thin enough to close the lid over and supportive enough to matter. We compared five rests on their listed details: size, material, thickness and warranties, using only what each listing publishes. Four are repositionable palm pads and one is a full keyboard rest.

How we scored them
The Office Score weighs performance, build, value, safety and warranty. For wrist rests, safety means stated safety-relevant features; none of the five listings states any, so no safety points were awarded. Four listings state a warranty term: 90 days on two, 1 year on two. How we pick explains the weights.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GRIFITI Palm Pads | 9.7 | 30 | 21 | 20 | n/a | 4 |
| WavePads 2-Pack | 9.7 | 30 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 4 |

| Tieguaim Gray Pads | 9.6 | 29 | 20 | 19 | n/a | 4 |
| Vaydeer Keyboard Rest | 9.6 | 30 | 20 | 20 | n/a | 0 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score. Safety counts only for powered gear or where the listing states safety features; where it does not apply, the score is taken over the remaining 90 points.
