Cons
- Marketed as a gaming chair, contradicting the focus

Detailed Review
The BestOffice lists an ergonomic gaming chair for adults, also described as an office desk chair, in faux leather with a 250-pound capacity. The dual marketing is the issue: it is sold as a gaming chair, which contradicts the non-gaming focus, though the ergonomics suit long sessions.

The color options (white, blue, red, black, pink, camo, grey) let it blend into a setup. Just know it is sold as a gaming chair despite the office-chair description.
Its Office Score of 9.6/10 comes from performance 28/35, build 20/25, value 20/25, safety not scored (non-powered gear) and warranty 0/5: 68 of 90 points, placed on our 9.2 to 9.8 scale.

How we scored them
The Office Score weighs performance (stated capacity, adjustability and features), build, value, safety and warranty. For chairs, safety means a stated BIFMA certification, gas lift class or weight capacity; three listings state BIFMA or SGS certification. Two listings in the wider set state a warranty term: 15 years and 24 months. None of the five main picks state a warranty, so warranty scores are zero here.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Morkprism Gaming Chair | 9.6 | 32 | 21 | 20 | 7 | 0 |
| OLIXIS Gaming Chair | 9.6 | 29 | 20 | 20 | 8 | 0 |
| NEO CHAIR N-GEN | 9.5 | 28 | 20 | 19 | 8 | 0 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score.
How to choose the best gaming chair with adjustable arms
Flip-up, 2D or 3D: what the armrest does
The NEO CHAIR and OLIXIS listings describe flip-up armrests that rotate up so the chair slides under a desk. The Morkprism listing describes 2D armrests with 2.75-inch height adjustment and 45-degree rotation. Flip-up suits tight spaces; 2D suits users who want height and angle control. The listing should state which type; if it does not, assume fixed.
Read the weight capacity and the seat size together
Stated capacities here are 275 lbs and 300 lbs. A 300 lb chair fits a different body than a 275 lb chair; match the stated seat dimensions to your frame. The Morkprism lists 300 lbs with a 21-inch seat depth; the OLIXIS lists 275 lbs with a 19.7-inch depth. Match both numbers to the user, not just the capacity.
Match the chair to the desk
A chair that does not fit under the desk wastes the flip-up feature. The NEO CHAIR lists a 27-inch arm height and the OLIXIS 27.8 inches; measure the desk underside before ordering. The Morkprism at 46.1 lbs is harder to move than the 30 lb OLIXIS, so consider who will reposition it.
Check what the warranty actually covers
The MUXX.STIL listing (in the related picks) states a 15-year warranty, while the HYLONE lists 24 months for parts. A longer term means less risk if the gas lift fails. If the listing states no term, the return window is the only coverage.
Setup Notes
Measure twice, order once: the numbers below come straight from the listings.
- Measure the desk height against the armrest height: the NEO CHAIR lists 27-inch arm height, the OLIXIS 27.8 inches.
- Flip-up armrests need clearance above the desk; measure before ordering.
- The OLIXIS listing states 15-minute assembly with included tools; the Morkprism requires assembly but states no time.
- Check the floor type: the NEO CHAIR lists hard floor use, the OLIXIS lists silent nylon casters.
- For the footrest models in more-picks, confirm the recline range: 90 to 135 degrees for the N-GEN, 90 to 155 for the LUCKRACER.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the weight limit on these chairs?
Stated capacities are 275 lbs for the NEO CHAIR and OLIXIS, 300 lbs for the Morkprism, and the more-picks list 300 to 330 lbs. The listing’s maximum weight recommendation is the figure to trust, not a general rule about chair sizes.
Do the armrests flip up?
The NEO CHAIR and OLIXIS listings state flip-up armrests that rotate up 90 degrees. The Morkprism lists 2D adjustable armrests with height and rotation, not a flip-up mechanism. The more-picks LUCKRACER lists 3D armrests.
How long does assembly take?
The OLIXIS listing states 15 minutes with included tools. The other listings state that assembly is required but give no time.
