How we scored them
The Office Score weighs brightness and light quality, build, value, safety and warranty. For desk lamps, safety means stated eye-care features like flicker-free light; three of the four state one. Two state a warranty term. How we pick explains the weights.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LitONES Tall LED Desk Lamp | 9.7 | 33 | 22 | 21 | 4 | 4 |

| Kitloo 1000LM Desk Lamp | 9.6 | 32 | 22 | 21 | 3 | 0 |

How to choose the best desk lamp for zoom calls
Brightness and color temperature
Brightness here runs 1000 and 1700 lumens, with two listings stating none. Color temperatures run 2700 to 6500K across the four, with 5 to 50 light modes stated. For video calls, a neutral light setting flatters faces without the orange cast of warm light; the LitONES (2700K-6500K) and LIONVISON (3000K-6500K) both list wide ranges covering it. See our best desk lamp for remote work guide for more home office picks.
Adjustability for the camera
The Buanick and LIONVISON state adjustable swing arms; the LitONES is a 40-inch tall lamp with a flexible design. A swing arm lets you aim the light at your face rather than the desk, which is what the camera sees. Touch controls appear on the Buanick and LIONVISON; the LitONES adds memory and timer functions. See our best desk lamp for dual monitors guide for lamps that clear big setups.
Eye care and warranty
The LitONES states a flicker-free field with a CRI over 97.8; the Kitloo states a CRI over 95 and the Buanick and LIONVISON state eye-caring light. Only the LitONES states a 3-year warranty and the Buanick a 12-month term; the other two state none. For a lamp you use all day, a stated warranty term is worth real money.
