Choosing the best mouse pad for Superstrike X2 use starts with the surface, because the Logitech PRO X2 Superstrike is a fast esports mouse and the pad decides how that speed feels. How we scored them
The OfficeKit Score weighs performance, build, value, safety and warranty. The Razer leads on sensor optimization and its thick foam base; all four score on stated gaming features, and three of the four state a 1-year warranty. How we pick explains the weights.
| Product | Office Score | Perf. /35 | Build /25 | Value /25 | Safety /10 | Warranty /5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Razer Gigantus V2 XXL | 9.7 | 32 | 22 | 21 | n/a | 2 |
| Glorious GMP 2 XL | 9.7 | 30 | 22 | 21 | n/a | 2 |
| BenQ Zowie G-SR III | 9.7 | 30 | 21 | 20 | n/a | 2 |
| Cmhoo XXL | 9.6 | 28 | 20 | 21 | n/a | 0 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score. Safety counts only for powered gear or where the listing states safety features; where it does not apply, the score is taken over the remaining 90 points.
How to choose the best mouse pad for Superstrike X2
Match the surface to your playstyle
The surfaces split into speed and control. The Razer uses a micro-weave surface calibrated for pixel-precise accuracy across all mouse sensors, per its listing. The Glorious uses a precision micro weave balanced for speed and control. The BenQ uses a humidity resistance cloth with a consistent and controlling glide. The Cmhoo lists an ultra-smooth surface for tracking with optical and laser sensors. Low-sensitivity players who make big arm movements want the control side; high-sensitivity players want the speed side. For sensitivity-specific picks, see mouse pads for high sensitivity gaming.
Pick the right size for your desk
Sizes range widely. The Cmhoo is the largest at 35.4 by 15.7 inches, fitting a keyboard and mouse. The Razer XXL is 16.14 by 37.01 inches. The Glorious Extended XL is 24 by 14 inches. The BenQ Large is 18.5 by 15.3 inches, the smallest here. Measure your desk before ordering, especially for the two XXL pads. A Superstrike X2 does not need a huge pad, but low-DPI players use more surface. For wireless setups, see mouse pads for wireless mice.
Check thickness and the base
Thickness runs from 0.12 inches on the Glorious to 4 mm on the Razer XXL, with the BenQ at 3.5 mm and the Cmhoo at 0.12 inches. Thicker pads stay flat over imperfect desk surfaces; the Razer listing notes its foam stays uniformly flat. All four list non-slip or anti-slip bases: rubber on the Cmhoo, anti-slip on the Razer and BenQ, and a grippy rubber base on the Glorious. The Glorious adds a spill-resistant barrier, and the Cmhoo and BenQ list washable or stitched edges. For a full desk setup, browse the mice and mouse pads lists.
Weigh the warranty
Three of the four state a 1-year warranty: the Razer lists 1 year manufacturer, the Glorious lists 1 Year Manufacturer, and the BenQ lists 1 Year Limited Warranty. The Cmhoo states no warranty term. Mouse pads wear at the edges and surface, so a stated term has real value here. For ergonomic options, see mouse pads for ergonomic mice.
Before you buy
- Check the surface: micro-weave for speed and control, humidity-resistant cloth for a consistent glide.
- Measure your desk: pads run from 18.5 by 15.3 inches to 35.4 by 15.7 inches.
- Compare thickness: 0.12 inches to 4 mm, with thicker pads staying flatter.
- Note the warranty: three list a 1-year term; the Cmhoo states none.
