How we scored them
The Office Score weighs performance (size, fill type, rest height and surface), build (base, cover and item weight), value for the stated specs, safety and warranty. For a mouse pad, safety means a stated non-slip or anti-slip base that keeps the pad in place, plus any stated material certification; the EooCoo memory foam pad states a ROHS certificate. Two listings state a warranty term: the EooCoo memory foam pad at 2 years and the DEMON CHEST at 18 months in its bullets. How we pick explains the weights.

| LIZPARE Flower Mouse Pad | 9.5 | 27 | 19 | 20 | 7 | 0 |
Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score.
How to choose the best mouse pad for sore wrists and thumbs
Match the rest height to your hand
Rest height is the first number to check. The EooCoo memory foam pad states 4mm, the LIZPARE 0.8 in, the DEMON CHEST 1 in, and the Hokafenle and EooCoo gel pads 1.2 in. A lower rest suits a flat hand on a low desk; a taller rest suits a hand that hovers over a higher mouse. If you already know your height, the 4mm to 1.2 in spread here covers the common range.
Foam or gel
Three picks use memory foam and two use gel. The EooCoo memory foam pad, the LIZPARE and the Hokafenle state memory foam with slow rebound; the DEMON CHEST and the EooCoo concave pad state gel, with the concave pad shaped to cup the wrist. Gel feels cooler and springier at first touch; foam molds and holds. Neither is stated as better in the listings, so pick by feel preference.
Base grip and surface
Every pick states a non-slip base: PU on the EooCoo pads and the DEMON CHEST, rubber on the LIZPARE, and a PU adsorption base on the Hokafenle. Surfaces are Lycra or Lycra-style cloth on four of the five, which the listings describe as smooth for tracking. The Hokafenle adds an 8-degree massage slope and the DEMON CHEST a faux leather cover, both stated as the maker’s design.
| Mouse pad | Stated size | Rest height | Fill | Base |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EooCoo memory foam | 9.64 x 8.26 in | 4mm | Memory foam | Non-slip PU |
| DEMON CHEST | 10.2 x 7.9 in | 1 in | Gel | Anti-slip PU |
| Hokafenle | 11.8 x 7.9 in | 1.2 in | Memory foam | PU adsorption |
| EooCoo concave gel | 10.2 x 7.5 in | 1.2 in | Gel | Non-slip PU |
| LIZPARE | 9.9 x 8.3 in | 0.8 in | Memory foam | Rubber |
Five more options
Five more options from the same listings did not make the ranked picks: the Armanza slope pad, the PVIPCZ sloped memory foam pad, the NNAKAPAKA M-shape pad, the ZapDesk gel pad and the QDOAOF massage pad.
Setup Notes
- Measure first: the pads here run 9.64 to 11.8 in long; check your mousing area before ordering.
- Check the height: rest heights run from 4mm to 1.2 in across the picks.
- Place it right: the wrist rest sits under the wrist, not under the palm, with the mouse on the flat area.
- Read the warranty line: the DEMON CHEST’s 18-month term is in the bullets; its spec table says 1 year.
